沖縄 米軍ヘリ炎上、エンジン部分から出火か｜動画ニュース News24h

沖縄県で１１日、アメリカ軍普天間基地所属のヘリコプターが炎上した事故で、機体のエンジン部分から出火していたことが新たにわかりました。　この事故は１１日午後、沖縄県・東村高江のアメリカ軍北部訓練場の近くで、普天間基地所属のＣＨ−５３Ｅヘリコプターが不時着し、その後、炎上したものです。一夜明けた１２日、事故現場では、大きく損壊したヘリが焼け焦げた状態で横たわり、その周りでマスクで口を覆ったアメリカ軍の兵士らが計測器をかざすなどして機体を調べていました。



　防衛省によりますと、アメリカ軍は海上での訓練中にエンジン部分から出火し、煙が機内に入ってきたため緊急着陸を行ったと説明しているということです。沖縄県の翁長知事は１２日に現場を視察し、再び起きたアメリカ軍機の事故に悔しさをにじませていました。



　「やっぱり一番は悲しい、悔しい、そして怒り。日常の世界が一転して恐ろしい状況になり、大変、違和感あった」（翁長 沖縄県知事）



　このほか、富川副知事が県庁に沖縄防衛局長と外務省の沖縄担当大使を呼び、強く抗議しました。



　「県民は米軍の航空機整備のあり方、安全対策等について大きな疑念と不信感を抱かざる得ず、断じて許せません」（富川 沖縄県副知事）



　事故を受けて、アメリカ軍は、同じ型の機体の飛行を４日間にわたって中止すると発表しました。また、アメリカ海軍安全センターは、今回の事故を最も重大な事故を表す「クラスＡ」に分類しています。

In response to the accident, the US military announced it would stop flying the same type of aircraft for 4 days. In addition, the US Navy Safety Center classifies this accident as "Class A" which represents the most serious accident.
