６２年前はほぼ手作業！衆院選“開票速報”｜動画ニュース News24h

今月２２日に行われる衆議院選挙。日本テレビ初となる６２年前の選挙特番の映像が、ライブラリーに残っていた。ほとんどが手作業だったという放送。その様子を映像でふり返る。



　昭和３０年２月２７日、日本テレビ初となる衆議院総選挙の“開票速報”が放送された。番組は投票日当日の午後９時２５分～午後１１時３０分。さらに開票が続く翌日も、午前８時～午後６時までというロングラン放送だった。



　選挙区ごと、北から南に情報を集めていく。票数・当確・当選は大手３社の新聞社を頼りにしていた。第１次鳩山一郎内閣の時に行われた総選挙で、街頭テレビには真冬の夜ながら黒山の人だかりができており、人々の関心の高さがうかがえる。



　日本テレビ内では、ほとんどが手作業だった。スタジオに用意された各候補者の名札ボードは、スタッフが筆を使って丁寧に書いている。さらに、得票数は１文字ずつハンコを押していた。



　撮影に使っていたのは、アメリカ製ＲＣＡ社のカメラだ。中継で党本部と結び、党首の表情や主張を伝えている。鳩山邸から生中継も行っていた。



　日本テレビはこの時、開局から１年半。全社員の応援体制で番組を制作した。

What I was using for shooting was a camera made by American RCA. It connects with party headquarters via relay, and it expresses expression and assertions of the party leader. I also had a live broadcast from Hatoyama residence.



At this time, Nippon Television started a year and a half. We created a program with support system of all employees.
