貧困家庭に“塾代クーポン”提供へ 渋谷区｜動画ニュース News24h

　高校受験を希望しながらも経済的な理由から塾に通えない中学生に、塾代などに使えるクーポンを提供するプロジェクトを、東京・渋谷区と複数のＮＰＯなどが協働して立ち上げた。



　この「スタディクーポン」プロジェクトは、インターネットを通じたクラウドファンディングで１０００万円を目標に寄付金を集め、その資金をもとに、貧困家庭の学生たちに学習塾や家庭教師代に使えるクーポンを提供する試み。



　渋谷区内に住む中学３年生が対象で、来年度からひとりにつき２０万円分のクーポンを提供する計画。渋谷区の長谷部区長は、「区内の公立中学校の生徒の中でも、就学援助を受けている家庭が約３割ある」として協力を呼びかけた。



　渋谷区・長谷部健区長「親の所得で自分の夢を諦めることは避けてほしいという、そうならないサポートをしていきたいと思っている」



　このプロジェクトへの寄付金は、来月末まで募集するという。
