　民進党は１日、蓮舫代表の後任となる新たな代表を選出する。前原元外相が優勢に選挙戦を進めていて、新代表に選ばれる公算が大きくなっている。



　代表選挙に立候補しているのは、共に当選８回の前原元外相と枝野元官房長官の２人。論戦を通じて、再来年１０月に予定されている消費税率引き上げの是非や、共産党との選挙協力などについて両候補の違いが浮き彫りになった。
