先月から、日本海の日本の排他的経済水域（＝ＥＥＺ）内で違法操業する北朝鮮漁船が急増し、海上保安庁は取り締まりの様子の写真を公開した。



　日本海の能登半島沖にある「大和堆」と呼ばれる海域は、水深が浅くイカなどがよくとれる漁場で、日本の排他的経済水域内にあるが、先月ごろから北朝鮮の漁船が１日に５０隻から１００数十隻押し寄せ、違法操業をしていた。



　これを受けて海上保安庁は、先月上旬から複数の巡視船を派遣し、延べ８２０隻の漁船に音声や掲示板での警告や放水などを行い、排他的経済水域の外側に退去させた。



　この結果、北朝鮮の漁船は今月中旬以降、周辺の海域では、ほとんど確認されていないという。

As a result, North Korea's fishing boat has hardly been confirmed in the surrounding waters since the middle of this month.
