１日、関東大震災で虐殺された朝鮮人犠牲者の慰霊式典が行われた。東京都の小池知事が今年から追悼文の送付をやめたことで波紋が広がっており、実行委員会などは改めて強く抗議した。



　慰霊式典は墨田区の都立横網町公園にある関東大震災朝鮮人犠牲者追悼碑の前で行われた。９４年前の９月１日に発生した関東大震災では、「朝鮮人が暴動を起こした」などのデマが広がり、多くの朝鮮人が日本軍などによって虐殺された。



　この式典には例年、都知事が追悼文を送っていたが、小池知事は「法要で犠牲になった全ての方々への追悼の意を表している」などとして今年から送付をやめている。これに対し、式典の実行委員長は「極めて遺憾で怒りを感じる」「１人１人の命と向き合う知事の姿勢としてどうか」などと強く抗議した。
