警察の調べによりますと、ハイ容疑者は３１日午前１１時すぎ、群馬県大泉町の駐車場で、車の中で警察官から職務質問を受けた際、突然逃げ出し、さらに１００メートルほど離れた住宅の敷地内で、追いついた警察官の腕にかみついて逃走したとして、公務執行妨害の疑いが持たれています。

ハイ容疑者は上半身が裸の状態で左手首に手錠をかけられたまま逃走したということです。



警察によりますと、ハイ容疑者は身長が１メートル６６センチ、左の上腕部に入れ墨があり、車の中ではベトナム人の女性３人と一緒にいたということです。



これまでの調べで、大泉町の逃走現場の周辺にある防犯カメラにハイ容疑者の姿は写っていないということで、警察は逃走現場の近くで誰かにかくまわれている可能性もあると見て、住宅やマンションの部屋を回って男の行方を捜査しています。



一方、８月３１日夕方、大泉町に隣接する太田市矢場新町にある団地の入り口付近で、上半身が裸の似ている男が座っているという目撃情報が寄せられ、団地の周辺でも捜索を進めています。しかし、逃走から２０時間以上たった今も見つかっておらず、警察は１日もパトカーなど５０台を出し、捜査員１７０人態勢で行方を捜査しています。
