国連の安全保障理事会が採択した北朝鮮の制裁決議の履行に携わる責任者がＮＨＫの単独インタビューに応じ、さらに厳しい制裁決議案のとりまとめを目指す日本を支持する考えを示しました。

国連の安保理には、制裁の実施状況を調べる制裁委員会が設置されていて、現在、議長を務めるイタリアのカルディ国連大使が３１日、ニューヨークでＮＨＫの単独インタビューに応じました。



この中でカルディ議長は「北朝鮮は国際金融システムの抜け穴を利用して、制裁を逃れるすべを持っている」と述べ、制裁の効果が十分に上がっていないことを認めました。



そのうえで、「国連のすべての加盟国の支持が必要だ」と述べて、制裁を徹底するために、税関や出入国の手続きについて、各国に技術的な支援を行ったり、情報を提供したりする取り組みを強めていく方針を示しました。



一方、先月２９日に北朝鮮が日本の上空を越える弾道ミサイルを発射したことについては、日本政府と国民への連帯を表明すると強調しました。



そして、日本が北朝鮮への石油の禁輸も視野に、さらに厳しい制裁決議案のとりまとめを目指していることについて、カルディ議長は、「日本がこうした分野を取り上げて圧力を強めていくことが重要だと考えるのであれば、イタリアは支持する」と述べ、日本を支持する考えを示しました。
