東京・杉並区は、住民の防災意識の向上に役立てたいとして、首都直下地震を想定した詳しい被害予測を載せた地図を初めて作成しました。



東京・杉並区は防災の日に合わせて、東京湾北部を震源とするマグニチュード７．３の首都直下地震が起きた場合を想定し、区内を５０メートルごとの区画に分けて被害を予測した地図を初めて作成しました。



それによりますと、ＪＲ高円寺駅などがある東部を中心に、建物は２５００棟余りが全壊、１万２０００棟余りが半壊するとしているほか、木造住宅が密集する地域などで火災が発生した場合には、最大で、区内にある建物数の５分の１を超える２万７０００棟余りが焼失するおそれがあるとしています。



また、死者は５４１人、けが人はおよそ３３００人と予測していますが、区は、建物の耐震強度を高め、不燃化するなど減災対策を進めた場合には、死者が９割、けが人も６割、減らせると分析しています。



杉並区はこの地図を住民に配布するなどして周知する方針で、「詳しく被害予測を公表することは風評被害につながるといった指摘もあるが、住民の防災意識の向上や減災対策に役立てたい」としています。
