「防災の日」の１日、東京・丸の内のオフィスビルでは大きな地震の際に外国人旅行者を避難場所に誘導する訓練が行われました。



この訓練は丸の内で多くのオフィスビルを運営する「三菱地所」がはじめて行ったもので、社員などおよそ５０人が参加しました。



訓練は震度７の地震が発生したという想定で行われ、オフィスビルの中にある観光案内所のスタッフがまず、外国人旅行者に地震の発生を知らせたうえで落ち着いて指示に従うよう呼びかけ、避難場所へ誘導しました。



訓練には英語や中国語、韓国語に対応した翻訳アプリを入れたタブレット端末が使われ、スタッフが交通機関の状況やトイレの場所などについて、アプリを活用して外国語で説明していました。



訓練に参加したブラジル人の女性は「今まで大きな地震を経験したことがないため混乱してしまいそうですが、建物の中にいたほうが安全だと丁寧に教えてくれたのでよかったです」と話していました。



丸の内周辺は去年、およそ２００万人の外国人旅行者が訪れ、災害時の安全確保が課題になっているということで、三菱地所街ブランド推進部の大谷典之統括は「慣れない土地で災害に遭遇することで不安に感じる人が多いと思うので、丁寧に接することを心がけ落ち着いて対応できるようにしたい」と話していました。
