夏の全国高校野球で初優勝を果たした埼玉県加須市の花咲徳栄高校では、新学期の１日、選手たちが全校生徒に優勝を報告しました。

夏の全国高校野球で埼玉県勢として初めて優勝した加須市の花咲徳栄高校では１日、始業式に合わせて優勝報告会が開かれました。



野球部の岩井隆監督や優勝旗を持ったキャプテンの千丸剛選手らが入場すると、全校生徒およそ１８００人から大きな拍手が起きました。



岩井監督は「皆さんの応援が選手の背中を押し、優勝旗を持ち帰ることができました」と優勝を報告しました。



また、キャプテンの千丸選手が「みんなの応援が力と勇気を与えてくれました」とあいさつしました。



これを受けて田中一夫校長は「どんなことにもくじけず励ましあい努力した結果です。感動をありがとう」などと選手たちをねぎらいました。



２年生の女子生徒は「野球部は私たちにとってとても大きな存在です、来年も甲子園にいけるよう頑張ってほしいです」と話していました。
