労災が認められたのは長野県千曲市の運送会社「信濃陸送」に勤めていた４３歳のトラック運転手の男性です。

男性はコンビニエンスストアに商品を配送する仕事を行っていて、ことし１月、配送中に駐車場で倒れ、急性大動脈解離で死亡しました。



３１日会見した遺族の代理人によりますと、長野労働基準監督署の調査で男性が亡くなる直前の１か月間の残業時間がいわゆる「過労死ライン」と呼ばれる月１００時間を超える１１４時間に上っていたことが認められたということです。

こうしたことから労働基準監督署は長時間労働が原因で過労死したとして、今月、労災認定しました。



厚生労働省によりますと、運送業は昨年度すべての業種の中で過労死の認定が最も多くなっていますが、政府の働き方改革の実行計画では、運送業は仕事の性質上、拘束時間が長いことなどから時間外労働の新たな上限規制の適用について５年間の猶予期間を設けるとしています。



遺族の代理人を務める川人博弁護士は「運送業でも過労死が相次いでいる以上、残業時間の適正な上限を設けるなど長時間労働を防ぐ対策を急ぐべきだ」と話しています。
